A practical buying guide to the LABUBU × FIFA Catch the Win Vinyl Plush: who should collect it, what to check before ordering, and how it fits a sports plush shelf.
Quick answer
Buy the LABUBU × FIFA Catch the Win Vinyl Plush if you collect THE MONSTERS sports crossovers and want a football-kit Labubu as a display piece. Skip it if you only collect standard plush sizes or prefer non-collab characters, because the football theme and collaboration premium dominate the purchase.
What the FIFA collaboration changes for collectors
This is not a neutral Labubu release. The Catch the Win Vinyl Plush puts Kasing Lung’s Monsters in full football kit, so the appeal depends on whether you enjoy sports-themed character design. The FIFA tie-in also brought THE MONSTERS to a wider global sports audience during the 2026 World Cup, which matters if you value a piece with a clear crossover story rather than a purely classic Monsters look.
Because the catalog lists only a style option and does not publish dimensions, weight, or material breakdown, treat size and shelf fit as unknowns until you confirm them with the seller. That missing detail is a real decision limitation, not a reason to guess.
The trade-off: collaboration premium versus shelf space
A football-kit Labubu takes up display space like any plush, but its value to you is tied to the FIFA theme. If your collection is built around classic Labubu or non-sports series, this piece may feel like an outlier. If you already group sports and streetwear crossovers, it anchors that section.
The catalog price is USD 109.79 against a comparison price of USD 179.99. Use that gap as a budget checkpoint, not as proof of future value; the catalog does not promise resale performance.
When a different Labubu makes more sense
Choose a standard Labubu plush or a non-collab THE MONSTERS release if you want a character-first display without football styling. Choose the Catch the Win Vinyl Plush only when the FIFA kit is the reason you are buying, because that is the feature you will see every day on the shelf.
Decision rules for the Catch the Win Vinyl Plush
- Theme test: Buy only if a football-kit Labubu fits a shelf you already dedicate to sports or crossover pieces. If your collection is classic character-only, pass. Snap a photo of your current shelf and check whether the football kit visually belongs there.
- Style option check: The catalog lists a style option but no dimensions or material details. Confirm the exact style you will receive and ask the seller for size and material information before ordering. Do not assume a size from photos; get the measurement in writing.
- Price checkpoint: Compare the USD 109.79 catalog price with the USD 179.99 comparison price and set a firm budget. Treat the discount as a buying window, not a guarantee of resale value. Decide your maximum spend before browsing other Labubu releases.
- Display plan: Plan where the plush will sit before purchase. Because dimensions are not published, reserve flexible space rather than a fixed cubby. If you cannot allocate open shelf space, delay the purchase.
